Adele “Ginger” Ogle

February 25, 1948 – April 24, 2025

Adele “Ginger” Ogle, 77, passed away on April 24, 2025, in her home following a brief illness.  She was born February 25, 1948 to Grace and Thomas Cornett in Huntington, West Virginia.  She graduated from Norwayne High School in 1966 and Ginger earned an Associate Degree in Business at Wayne College in 1991. She married Jimmy Ogle in 1968.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.  She is survived by a son Tom (Kim) Ogle, granddaughter Jamie Ogle, sister Karen Smith, brother John (Barb) Cornett, brothers-in-law Chuck (Theresa) Ogle, Burt (Christy) Ogle, sister-in-law Pat Sutton and many nieces and nephews.

Ginger retired from Rubbermaid Corporation after 34 years of service.  She began a second career as a hairstylist after retirement.

Ginger had a passion for travel that took her around the world.  She filled her passport with stamps from places like Italy, England and Australia where she shared memorable adventures with friends and family.  Ginger had many interests and hobbies.  She enjoyed hosting family gatherings, cooking, baking and spending time with loved ones.  Her garden bloomed through the seasons.  Ginger was a true animal lover, often having a pet by her side.  Above all, Ginger found pure joy in spoiling her granddaughter, creating cherished memories that will live on.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare 1900 Akron Rd., Wooster Ohio 44691.

A Service of Remembrance will be held on Saturday May 3, 2025 at 12:00 PM at McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home 216 E. Larwill St, Wooster with Jeff Franks officiating.

Friends will be received one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

  4. I worked with your Mom at Rubbermaid. We were great friends, I took some classes with her after we retired. Had her to my house at the Portage Lakes…. Only to find out she worked with my husband way back in the 60’s at A&W Rootbear stand. She was so much fun!!
