“Together Again”
Ronald E. Fletcher Sr., 79, of Wooster, Ohio passed away Sunday, May 4, 2025, surrounded by his children and grandchildren and family at Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare of Wooster.
He was born on November 4, 1945, in Painesville, Ohio. He attended Edgewood High School in Ashtabula and then proudly served his country in the Army National Guard as an E4 specialist, heavy tank mechanic with the 1/107th armored calvary. He moved to Wooster in 1976 and has since made it his home. He is now, once again, joined the love of his life, Becky Fletcher, of whom he has missed for 3 long years. He will also be welcomed to Heaven by family who have passed before him: His parents, Margaret (Novak) and Robert E. Fletcher Sr. Siblings: Ricky Fletcher, Christine Miller, Bobby Fletcher and Mike Fletcher.
He and Becky raised 3 children, Kim, Michelle and Ron Jr. He was a truck driver, owner/ operator of KMR enterprises (named for their 3 children) until he retired in 2005. He spent much of his ‘retirement’ once again on the road, driving cab and making friends with everyone he encountered. Ron always had a joke and loved to tinker. He could literally fix anything, and if he couldn’t, he would figure it out anyway. His favorite things included an ice-cold diet coke and ice cream as well as time spent with his best friend, his first great grandson, Hudson Thacker. They spent many weekends and summer days enjoying each other’s company and exploring their town.
He always felt his greatest accomplishment was his family, he is survived by Children Kimberly (Tony) McNeil, Michelle (Robert) Eubank and Ronald Jr (Jennifer) Fletcher. Grandchildren Alyssa (Joey) Thacker, Emily (David) Campbell, Rachel Haak, David Eubank, Timothy Haak, Matthew Haak, Christina (Jared) Hannus and Eilee Fletcher. Great Grandchildren Hudson & Lincoln Thacker; Blakely & Kyler Campbell; Claudia & Anderson Isaly and Clay Hannus as well and his soon expected baby sister. He is also survived by brothers Rob Fletcher, Dan Fletcher and Ken Fletcher as well as countless nieces and nephews.
He loved Christmas and created such magical memories for the kids who will cherish and continue to pass these to their own.
The family would like to think the staff of Shady Lawn, Townview Terrace, West View Health Living and Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare for their amazing care of our parents.
A celebration of life service will follow at a later date. McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home 216 E. Larwill St. Wooster is assisting the family.

Thank you Ron for being such a safe and wonderful cab driver to me and my son. When you didn’t have time to pick us up you would call your lovely wife, Becky, and she would gladly come get us and take us home. I appreciate you both and will always remember how kind you were! I hope you are both reunited and at peace 🕊️
Condolences to Becky, Rob, and Ken. Sending Prayers and wishes for peace and sweet memories.
