  6. My deepest condolences to the whole family. Timmy was one of a kind! I remember spending a lot of time growing up at my best friend’s house (Elizabeth), and Timmy (her brother) would frequently stop by his parents house when I was there. He was always friendly. I remember he was unimaginably good at playing the Nintendo 64, and would watch him play 007 golden eye and strum his guitar impressively! My mom also knew Timmy, as she was his junior achievement advisor many years ago, and we were so saddened to hear of his passing. We will miss waving at him and his dog when traveling around town.

  32. What a resilient spirit Tim had! I sat next to Tim in our freshman art class, and Mr. McCreary was our teacher back in 1980-1981. Despite having physical limitations and having to endure cruel teasing from many high school teenagers…Timmy always had a friendly and kind nature, along with the determination to “find a way” to achieve his goals. It’s been a decade since I last saw Tim, but I bumped into him on Beall Avenue while walking my little dog, Gigi, and he was walking his dog. We chatted and caught up a bit as our dogs interacted with one another. I enjoyed talking with Tim and hearing about his life and all the things he was able to do and accomplish. He smiled at me and wished me well, and appreciated me remembering his name and stopping to talk to him. He didn’t recognize me at first, but I told him my name and reminded him that we had a freshman art class together, and he smiled a broad smile after realizing who I was. Tim, I’ll fondly remember you as the kind and resilient boy I knew back in the 80s, and wish I had half of your resilient and kind nature. God speed your soul back to your Creator, Timmy.
