William E. Stanton, 71, of Wooster passed away unexpectedly at his home on May 31, 2025.

He is survived by Dawn his wife of 43 years his daughter Jen (Chris) Cooper and his 3 grandchildren Andrew, Alex, and Austin all of Westerville.  He is also survived by his sister Sharon Woods of Newton Falls and his brother Charles H. Stanton Jr. of Cartland.

Per Bill’s wishes there will be no services.

McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.

  2. What a shock to suddenly lose such a kind, decent, and generous man. i never heard him utter an unkind word. I have also never know anyone more devoted to family. An outstanding father, grandfather, and brother-in-law. He will be missed.
