Thomas “Tom” P. Shellenberger, 77, of Wooster passed away on Sunday, June 22, 2025, at Brookdale Wooster.

He was born January 1, 1948, in South Bend, Indiana to James and Martha Crull Shellenberger.  On December 27, 1967, he married Susan Micinski.  She survives him.

Tom proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1967 to 1970.  Tom was a Purchasing Programmer working in the drug wholesale industry for various different companies.  Tom was in a golf league at the Hawk’s Nest and The Pines.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters Laura (Jim) Weiner of Wooster and Julie (Trent) Hobbs of Dover, Florida; grandchildren Tommy (Meghan) Weiner, Ian Weiner, Megan Hobbs, William Weiner and Emily Hobbs; siblings Shelley (Sam) Posante, Toni OKeefe, Patrick Shugrue, and Libby (Brian) McKenna.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother James Shellenberger.

Private Services will be held with McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made the Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare 1900 Akron Rd., Wooster, Ohio 44691.

  3. My thoughts and prayers are with friends and family during this difficult time of loss. I worked with Tom at Hawk’s Nest and enjoyed golfing in the Senior League that Tom organized. Great sense of humor. Loving and caring gentleman. He will be missed!

  4. Played golf with Tom for many years and enjoyed him as a friend and a fellow “lousy” golfer. We had many laughs together and I was appreciative of him organizing and running our “Senior” golf league.
