May 30, 1942 – June 29, 2025

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and cousin, Raymond B. Iannarelli, Jr., who died peacefully on June 29, 2025, after spending his final days in hospice care surrounded by loved ones. He was 83 years old.

Born on May 30, 1942, in Wooster, Ohio, Ray was the son of Raymond B. and Rose Marie (Calabria) Iannarelli. A lifelong resident of Wooster, he took great pride in his hometown and built a life grounded in family and community. He was a member of the Wooster High School class of 1960; he soon thereafter proudly served his country in the United States Army.

Over his lifetime, Ray worked alongside colleagues who became friends at Wayne County National Bank, Underwood Lincoln-Mercury Dodge, Spurgeon Chevrolet, and the Wayne County Title Office.

Ray is survived by his devoted wife of 62 years, Sandra (Mullet) Iannarelli; his daughter, Lynn (Jon) Terman; and his son, Scott (Melissa) Iannarelli. He was deeply loved and admired by his grandchildren, Raymond and Addy Iannarelli, who brought him endless joy.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Connie Ewing and Anita Palus, in-laws, Sam and Jane Gordon, and a number of other family members and loved ones. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, generosity, and care for others.

The family would like to thank the staff at Wooster Community Hospital and Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare for the kind and compassionate care given to Ray in his final weeks.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, July 3, 2025 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster.  Services will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that remembrances to Ray be made to Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare, 1900 Akron Road, Wooster, OH 44691.

  7. Sorry for your loss Punky. Ray was a good man and a true friend. I remember having fun with Ray in the neighborhood. As kids, my brothers and I would ask if Ray could come out to play even though he was a young adult! We also played softball together for many years and I enjoyed him as a team mate. He always had a smile on his face and had a great sense of humor! RIP Ray.
