Dale Everett Ring, 90, of Mansfield, formerly of Wooster died on Thursday, July 24, 2025 at Crystal Care Center in Mansfield.

He was born March 23, 1935 in Berea to Ralph and Neva Prindle Ring.  In March of 1958, he married Zoelouise Bauman.  She survives.

Dale was a graduate of Wooster High School and The Ohio State University.  He named his dairy farm Sungold Farms.  Dale was a FFA State and National officer and former President of the Ohio Beef Council and the Ohio Dairy Farmers Federation.  He was also a lifetime member of Oak Chapel United Methodist Church and a 21-year member of the Wooster Rotary Club.

Along with his wife, Dale is survived by his sons Glen (Beth) Ring and Curtis (Jennifer) Ring; grandchildren Kenton (Emma), Kirklin (Mary) Alex, Lawrence and Colton; great-grandson Owen; many nieces and nephews and special friends Heidi and Jodi Bair.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Oliver Ring.

A Service of Remembrance will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2025 at 3:30 PM at Oak Chapel United Methodist Church, 4203 W. Old Lincoln Way, Wooster with Pastor John Finn officiating.  Inurnment will be at Reedsburg Cemetery.

Friends will be received one hour prior to the service at the church.

McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.

  3. My condolences . He was a very nice man and we enjoyed waving to him and the boys as they farmed across the road when we were kids .

  7. Uncle Dale always brought the fun and smiles to every family get together! All the Might children loved visits from Uncle Dale, Aunt Zoe, Glenn, and Curtis. We did get into a lot of mischief though! Some of our best family videos at the Ring farm!!!

  11. Sending heartfelt condolences and prayers to Zoe, Glenn, Curtis and their families. The Ring family was always so good to my parents. My mother spent several years babysitting their two sons. I spent a lot of time with the boys as well. They were like two extra brothers to me. Love, hugs and sympathy for the loss of your husband and father.

  14. Taking care of Dale at Crystal Care was consistently the highlight of my days. Being able to sit and hear all his stories about life was a privilege that I will always look back on fondly.
    I’ll miss you, “buddy ole’ pal”.

  15. I remember Dale as a quiet, but ornery man. I haven’t seen your family for so many years, please know you’re all in my thoughts and prayers. It’s never easy to loose our loved ones, but it’s a blessing to have all thoes memories.
