Patrick W. Chirdon, 89, of Wooster passed away on Monday, August 11, 2025, at Wooster Community Hospital.
He was born on August 21, 1935, in Cuyahoga Falls, to Patrick and Tressa Niskey Chirdon. On October 17, 1954 he married Wilma Jones, who survives.
Patrick was a graduate of Medina High School in 1953. He was owner & operator of the Parlor Restaurant in Wooster for 40 years with his son Michael. He also worked for Met Life Insurance for 20 years. Patrick was an avid golfer and had 6 holes in one in his career. He enjoyed playing cards especially Euchre, and fishing. He was a member of the Wooster Elks. Patrick wintered in North Port, Florida for 35 years.
In addition to his wife, Wilma, he is survived by his son Patrick Michael (Cindy) Chirdon of Wooster; grandson Blake Michael (Brilynn) Chirdon of Lexington, Ohio; great grandson Baylor Michael Chirdon; Cindy’s daughters Hanna (Daniel) Wheeler and Gabby (A.J.) Hescht.
Patrick was preceded in death by his parents; brother Gary Chirdon and half-brother Richard Jones.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the charity of donor’s choice.
Private services were held.

My Dad was a great man,father and business man. I would not be where I’m at today with out him. He was a great golfer by the way. He will be missed. My Mom is an Angel for 70 years with him. Lots of patience was needed 🙏🙏😁😁 Love to my Dad.
