Twila Darlene Short, 87, of Wooster passed away on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at her home.
She was born on September 18, 1937, in Wooster to Henry Glen and Martha Elizabeth Vanmeter Ray.
Twila worked as an STNA and at Gerber Chicken in Kidron. She enjoyed coloring, crocheting, dancing and taking scenic drives.
She is survived by her children Warren Glen Short of Orrville, Angila Sue (James Sr.) Graser of Wooster, Darlene Ann (James) Brown of Wooster, Imogene Short of Orrville, Charles “Shawn” (Lori) Short of Orrville and Lisa Jo Short of Millersburg; fourteen grandchildren; fifty-five great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Charles she was preceded in death by her parents; two grandchildren; siblings Ethel Nicholson, Alice Snodgrass, Bonnie Woodruff, J.R. Ray and Esther Coleman.
A Funeral Service will be held on Monday September 15, 2025, at 1:00 PM at McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster with Pastor Craig Strasbaugh officiating, Interment is to follow at East Union Cemetery.
Friends will be received two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
