Isabella Suzanne Settos, affectionately known as Iz, Izzy, or Bella, passed away on September 13, 2025, in Wooster, Ohio, at the age of 31. Born on February 2, 1994, in Ft. Myers, Florida, Isabella’s short life was filled with laughter, compassion, and a love that touched everyone around her.

From the time she was a toddler, Isabella was known for her knack for making others feel at ease. With her beautiful smile and striking ice blue eyes that would captivate anyone who met her, she radiated warmth and kindness. Her sense of humor brought light to even the most challenging of days, and she had an innate ability to make people laugh, instantly putting them at ease.

Isabella was endlessly caring—a trait evident in small gestures, like her childhood love for massaging hands and feet, always offering comfort to those in need. She never hesitated to extend a helping hand, doing anything she could for friends, family, or even a stranger.

A lover of the outdoors, Isabella was happiest surrounded by nature, camera in hand, capturing the majesty of trees and the ever-changing sky. Her artistic soul shone through her paintings, a passion she joyfully shared with her beloved father, George. It was with her dad that Isabella felt most at home, their bond a deep and enduring one.

Isabella’s strong spirit and determination defined her recent years. She courageously embraced recovery and, with immense strength, became a house manager at a sober living home, leading and uplifting others walking a similar path. Her involvement in a local church in Akron reflected the guiding light of her Christian faith. Isabella had accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior and is in heaven free of all worries and pain.

Isabella leaves behind a loving family: her mother, Scarlett Hightower; her father, George Settos; her cherished son, Mason; sister, Brittany; brother, Jack; grandparents Marion and John Cherry; many aunts and uncles; many cousins; and many friends who became family along her journey. She is predeceased by her sister, Olivia; and grandparents, Kay and Spiros Settos.

Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Isabella are invited to a celebration of her life on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at McIntire, Bradham, & Sleek Funeral Home 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster, Ohio, with visitation one hour prior. Interment will follow at Wooster Cemetery.

Isabella’s loving spirit, infectious laughter, and caring heart will forever be remembered. May her memory bring comfort and continue to inspire kindness in us all.
