Debbie J. Pouk, 66, passed away October 25, 2025.
Debbie was born December 16, 1958 in Wooster. She married Daniel James (Jim) Pouk November 25, 1978. Her dear husband passed to his heavenly home July 10, 2012.
Debbie’s kind-hearted, faith-filled, and calming soul shined through to everyone who met her. Her usually reserved nature fell away to showcase her silly sense of humor in the presence of the family she loved so much. She loved going to thrift and antique stores to find treasures, which she called her pretties, including her large collection of Precious Moments. Throughout her life, Debbie also enjoyed her flower gardens and her beloved dog Pokie.
Debbie is survived by her loving family: Mother, Phyllis Howman-Rafferty; Sister, Beth (Ronald) Winebrenner; Brother, Tony (Michele) Howman; Nieces, Alicia (Shaun), Krista (Brian and sons Bryson and Gyver), Ashlee; Nephews, Nathaniel, Hayden (daughter Riley Rose).
Preceding her in death was her stepdad, Vernon Rafferty.
Debbie and her family would like to thank The Avenue, Wooster, and LifeCare Hospice for the care they provided.
Private family services will be held. McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster will be assisting the family.

I will always remember Debbie and Jim. A lot of memories throughout the years when I met her in 7th grade. She was a dear soul. God’s peace to all her loved ones.
Beth and family, I was shocked and sad to see this. Debbie was such a good, fun person and I am glad that I got to know her, we had a so many good times at Convenient Food Mart. I know you will all miss her immensely.

Debbie was such a sweet person. I was a volunteer in the gift shop at West View Healthy Living and always enjoyed talking with Debbie. She was a big help to me in the shop when I broke my arm. RIP, Debbie
