Charles Anderson Hilty, 57, of Wooster died on Friday, November 21, 2025 at his home.

He was born December 9, 1967 in Wooster to Peter and Deborah Pacini Hilty.  On December 15, 1991, he married Gail Haycook.  She survives.

Charles had worked for various factories around the area, most recently at Quality Quick Sort.  He enjoyed watching sports, especially the Chicago Blackhawks and the Cleveland teams, and online streamers.

Along with his wife, Gail, he is survived by his children Donald (Heaven Bersch) Hilty of Wooster and Debra (Lillian Beugly) Hilty of Wooster; brother Matthew (Jill) Hilty of Chicago; sisters Rebecca (Darold) Mergens of NE and Faith (Lee) Sigler of McZena along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Donna Ashcraft.

A Gathering of Friends will be held on Thursday, December 18, 2025 from 5:00-7:00 PM at McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster.
