It is with profound heartbreak that we announce the passing of our beloved daughter, Ashley Bush, who left this world unexpectedly on December 10, 2025, at the young age of 21. Born on June 3, 2004, she filled every space she entered with kindness, laughter, and the kind of light that could never be dimmed.

Above all, she was a devoted mother to her cherished son, Ja’Kai, who was the center of her world. Her love for him was deep, fierce, and unwavering, and she carried her role as his mother with pride and joy.

Ashley was known for her generous heart, her strength, and the way she made others feel seen and loved. Whether through her smile, her kindness, her helpfulness, or her resilience, she touched lives far beyond what she ever realized.

She leaves behind her precious 3-year-old son Ja’Kai, her grieving mother and stepfather Karen and Charlie Lidge, her ever supporting brothers Kenneth Jordan and Seth Bush, loving sisters Armoni and Karlie Lidge and numerous family members, and all who were blessed to know her. Though her time with us was far too short, the impact she made will remain forever.

May she rest in eternal peace, and may her love live on through her son and all who carry her in their hearts.

A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at 6:00 PM at McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster with Chaplain Daron Butler officiating.

Friends will be received on Wednesday from 3:00 to 6:00 PM at the funeral home.

Online condolences may be directed to the family at www.mcintirebradhamsleek.com.
