Bryan Thomas Luzier 47, of Wooster, died on Thursday December 18, 2025, while in one of his favorite places, his fortress in the backyard.

Bryan did many things in his life and was many things to his family. He helped others with struggles he knew all too well through his work in One Eighty, he became a handyman, a Gardner, a painter, a builder, a mechanic, and whatever his family and him needed. He struggled in early life, but eventually found his way back to his family, becoming a loving and caring husband, a father to many children, and a friend for anyone in need. He loved to fish, to listen to music in the garage while caring for the bunnies, to work on the beautiful fortress, to go camping whether with his family or adventuring on his own, to play all kinds of games with his family and spend time with them, and lastly but certainly not least, to spoil his wife and kids and do everything in his power to show them he loved them through actions and words. The following are words from His daughters Corrine and April Luzier that show who he was best.

A loving dad, a devoted husband, a light and inspiration in the recovery community. A brother, a son, an uncle, a friend. A dad joke master, a man who worked with his hands.
A fisher, a gardener, a builder, a self-taught mechanic, a craftsman. He loved God, he loved his family, and he loved his friends. To know him is to love him. To share a conversation with him is to share a laugh and a smile. To share our humanity as we surrender to God, to life and the mysteries therein. Gone too soon but never forgotten by those whose lives he’s touched.

Dad is a word that can’t just be given out. It’s someone who always provides and cares and is there when you need help with anything. My dad was the best example of this. He was always thoughtful and funny; he found the most fun random things to do like an Irish pub themed murder mystery party. He took us fishing and taught us, he showed us things like Monty python and princess bride, and each of us always had our special things with him. Dad is a word of someone to me who won’t be able to be replaced, he was like no other.

Bryan is survived by his wife Nichole Luzier (40); his kids Corrine Luzier (28), Cheryl Luzier (Tristan Cardwell) (20), and April Luzier (17); his bonus kids Ashleigh Young (32), Aaron McConahay (21), and Georgia Otterbacher (18); his dad Terry Luzier; and his sisters Jennifer Kenzig and Crystal Luzier.

Bryan was preceded in death by his mom, Debra Luzier and his son Jaret Luzier

Memorial services and food afterwards will be held at East Union Lutheran Church, 7063 Lincoln Way E., Wooster, on Monday, January 5, 2026, at 1pm.
