John Russell Tarleton, 71, of Wooster passed away on Thursday, December 18, 2025, at Jag Mansfield.

He was born March 25, 1954, in Wooster to Harry and Doris Louise Kline Tarleton.

John did road construction.  He liked hunting, guns, coin collection, and 4-H.

He is survived by his children Jon R. (Debbie) Tarleton, Brad K. (Corine) Tarleton, and Katie A. (Thomas Lehman) Tarleton; grandchildren Nathan, Brittany, Nicholas, Lucas, Easton, Everett and Josephine; siblings Gaylord Tarleton, Dave Tarleton, Louise Tarleton, Susan (Millie) Tarleton, and Tom Tarleton.

John was preceded in death by his parents.

A Private Service will be held at a later date.
