Kristi N. Peyatt, 48, of West Salem passed away on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at Summa Akron City Hospital.
She was born July 28, 1977, in Wooster to Walter Adams and Glenda Robinson.
Kristi graduated from Wooster High School in 1996. She worked as a daycare provider. Kristi loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her mother Glenda ( Edwin) Peyatt of Horntown, Virginia; daughter Jordan (Justin) Malone of West Salem; grandchildren Brantley and Ky’Onna; God children Piper and Augustus Tabor; siblings Shane (Kerrie) Peyatt of Wooster, Cassie (Todd) Patrick of Wooster, Mikel Connock of Wooster, Donnie Robinson of Wooster and Rachel (Kevin) Sprowls of Orrville; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Kristi was preceded in death by her father Walter Adams, and brother Mark Peyatt.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster, Ohio 44691 to defray expenses.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at 12:00 PM at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Congress Cemetery.
Friends will be received on Saturday, from 10:00 to 12:00 PM at funeral home.

Jordan- I will be praying for you. Your mom was a great person and had a lot of love for everyone including my children. I will never forget your mom. She was there when Sylvia watched them and then she watched them. She provided such loving care to my children and I am beyond grateful for that- I won’t be able to make the funeral but if you need anything, please reach out. I am sorry for your loss!

I’m so heartbroken over this. Kristi always held a special place in my heart. Right next to you Jordy. She had a heart of gold and a soul of love. She will be deeply missed by many. Kristi is singing in the angels choir. She watched over you here on earth. And she is now watching over you from heaven.

Im so sorry Jordan ♡ Your Mom was a beautiful woman.. filled with kindness. She helped me and talked sense into me when no one else would or even cared to! Every sober day I have is a nod to her.. 3 years.. she helped me find the courage that last day to make the decision to get better. She sat there and cried with me. Wow this seems like a bad dream you can’t wake up from.i understand how u feel it’s like part of you is gone your mama loved you and her grandkids more then life Kristy has definitely helped me over the years I loved her like a sister I know she’s up there with cc,Buddha,her dad,Tank,Velma,Tim,Bo,when she arrived all God’s angels and God himself was singing even my mama Linda welcomed her with open arms I know she not suffering at all that’s the one thing that helps me accept this So until we meet again fly high and tell my mama that I love and miss her so much.
