Patricia “Pat” Lynn Brod 80, of Wooster passed away on Thursday, December 25, 2025, at Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare.
She was born on May 17, 1945, in Ivy Dale, West Virginia to Carl and Thelma Richey Morris. On October 20, 1990, she married Robert “Bob” L. Brod.
Pat was a Unit Secretary at Wooster Community Hospital for 26 years. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, grand dogs, gardening, and watching X-files. She & Bob completed the East Ohio Emmanuel Emmaus walk 35
She is survived by her husband Robert “Bob”; children Melissa Vaughan (James Moles) of Akron and Andy Vaughan of Los Angeles, California; stepdaughter Robyn (Sean) Duley of Xenia; grandchildren Sam (Faith) Frank of Cuyahoga Falls and Natalie (Gonzalo) Leon of Newton Falls; step grandchildren Harper & Carter Duley; siblings Charlene Boggs of Ivy Dale, WV and Bonnie L. Davis of Granite Falls, NC.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents; father of her children’s father Kent Vaughan; brother Paul Morris.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, January 2, 2026, at 1:00 PM at McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster.

Pat was always so kind and caring when we worked at Wooster Hospital. Prayers and thoughts with the family at this time. Wonderful memories!
