Michael “Mike” Todd Facemire, 51, of Wooster died on Saturday, January 17, 2026 at Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare just one day shy of turning 52.
He was born January 18, 1974, in Wooster the son of Leslie Facemire and Shirley Spahr.
Mike was a 1993 graduate of Wooster High School. He loved to fish and watch gamers on YouTube. Mike was a big part of his nieces and nephews lives and was caring about everyone. He wanted to always be self-sufficient despite his disabilities.
He is survived by his longtime girlfriend Rhonda Nixon of Wooster; brothers Jeffrey (Jessica Van Winkle) Facemire of Vickery and Joseph Facemire of Wooster; special friends Roger, James, Justin, Chris, Ryan and Tyler along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
Mike was preceded in death by his mother; brother Robert Facemire and his beloved Airedale Duke.
A Gathering of Friends will be held on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, from 5:00-7:00 PM at McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster.
Contributions may be made to the funeral home to help defray expenses.

Mike you will forever be loved and missed. You were and will always be my girls uncle. Mike was an awesome uncle. Some of my earliest memories are hanging out with uncle Mike at Great Grandma’s (Anita Spahr) house. He had an upstairs room, I remember playing wrestle-mania with him on NES. That was probably 30 years ago. He also had the most well behaved dog in Duke. Love you Mike, hope to see you again
