Larry Pat Giles, 85, of Wooster passed away Sunday, February 8, 2026, at his home.

He was born on October 29, 1940, in Marion, OH to Milton and Madge Brobeck Giles.  On April 30, 1988, he married Lola Perry.

Pat was a machinist at United Titanium.  He enjoyed playing baseball, softball, ping pong and building and flying remote control airplanes.  Pat was an avid sports enthusiast.

He is survived by his wife Lola, his children Tina Severns of Prospect, OH, Tracey Giles of New Port Richey, Florida, Toni (Doug) Mers of Troy, OH; stepchildren Donnie Coots of Mansfield, OH and Lolita Coots of Wooster, OH; six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and a sibling Soni Tron of Columbus, OH.

Pat was preceded in death by his parents.

There will be no services.

McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.

  2. So sorry for your loss! I had the privilege of working with Pat at United Titanium back in the late 90’s. What a contagious smile and genuine, chortling belly laugh. Played a lot of ping pong with him too. He loved to talk about his days working at the Tecumsah engine factory. Such fond memories. Rest in peace my friend!
