William “Bill” L. Weekley, 86, of Wooster passed away Monday, February 16, 2026, at Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare.
He was born on November 9, 1939, in Calhoun County, West Virginia to Fred W. and Lear Parsons Weekley. On April 29, 1960, he marred Martha Robert.
Bill worked at Rubbermaid for 35 years when he retired. He enjoyed spending time with his family.
He is survived by his son Mark (Leatha) Weekley of Wooster; grandchildren Nichole Cunningham, Samantha Weaver, Stephanie Wagner; great grandchildren Conner Cunningham, Addi Weaver, Layla Jones, Lincoln Jones; siblings Sharon (Bill) Hill of MD, Carroll (Carole) Weekley of Parkersburg, WV, Larry (Sue Chi) Cottrell of WV, Geneva Lucas of Houston, TX, Barbara (Dan) Heiney of Grantsville, WV; many nieces and nephews.
Bill was preceded in death by his wife, parents, and siblings Paul Weekley, Robert Weekley, Loy Weekley, Lowell Weekley, and Glenna Pilgrim.
Private family services will be held with inurnment in Apple Creek Cemetery.

We are so sorry to hear about Bill. Bill and I (Gene Murphy) were in the same school classes for 12 years. We ran around together a lot growing up in West Virginia. He was a good friend. We will miss you Billy!
I worked with Bill at Rubbermaid. Bill was a great man. I bought an older car he had(blue) and drove it along time. He had a heart of gold.God bless him and all of your family.
Work with Bill for 33 years played golf and knew him and his wife very well visit him shorty after his wife passed and mark was there with his wife
