Mary “Jenny” V. Phillips, 85, of Apple Creek passed away, Thursday, February 26, 2026, at Wooster Community Hospital.
She was born on October 14, 1940, Beallsville, OH to Harry and Mary Zuercher Kinney. On May 11, 1957, she married Arlen Gene Phillips.
Jenny worked for many years at Rubbermaid until she retired. After retirement she drove Amish. Jenny enjoyed socializing, quilting, stained glass, and was very active in the church.
She is survived by her children Teresa (TJ) Landes of Wooster, Dee (Daryl) Crowner of Shreve; grandchildren Bryan Phillips and Kayla (Jarrod) Beyler; great granddaughter Eliza Phillips; sister Phyllis (Freddie) Moore of Woodsfield, OH.
Jenny was preceded in death by her husband Arlen, her parents; her sons Thomas Phillips and Billy Phillips; daughter in law Stephenie Phillips; brothers Ralph Kinney and Charles Kinney; sister Wanda Thomas.
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Apple Creek United Methodist Church, 269 W. Main St., Apple Creek with Rev. Aimee Hare officiating. Calling hours will be held 1 hour prior to the service.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster assisted the family with arrangements.
