Jerry D. Beasley, 56, of Wooster, Ohio passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2026.  He was born on March 31, 1969, to Everett and Thelma (Hunt) Beasley.

Jerry was the father of two children, Ryan Beasley and Raven Beasley; and grandfather to Alyvia Beasley and Amaar Beasley.  He shared many moments throughout his life with his family.

He was a dedicated fan of Ohio sports and faithfully supported the Cleveland Browns as well as the Ohio State Buckeyes.  He enjoyed following games and talking sports with those around him.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Everett and Thelma Beasley; his brothers Larry and David; and a nephew.

He is survived by his children Raven and Ryan; grandchildren Alyvia and Amaar; siblings Milly, Randy (Ruby), Linda (Donnie), Karen and Darrell; along with many nieces and nephews who will remember him in their own ways.

Jerry’s life was intertwined with his family and community, and he will be remembered by those who knew him.

There will be no formal services held at this time. A celebration of Jerry’s life will be planned for a later date, and details will be shared with family and friends once arrangements have been made.

  6. I’m so sorry for your loss. Jerry was a very special person. I missed him walking the halls at Major and sitting and talking with us on night shift. He enjoyed his ice cream with us from DQ. We wished he would have never moved. He was a very caring person and would sit and laugh with us. So very sad he will be missed.
