Darrell Lee Taylor, Sr., 65, of Wooster passed on Monday, March 2, 2026, at Wooster Community Hospital.
He was born October 19, 1960, in Orrville to Donald Earl Taylor and Marilyn June Young.
Darrell worked as a welder and maintenance man, retiring from Stahl Truck Body. He enjoyed racing, demolition derby with his son, working on cars and fabricating Most of all spending time with his family.
He is survived by his children Rachel Taylor of Wooster, Darrell Taylor, Jr., of Wooster, Samantha (Brian Holland) Taylor of Cullowhee, NC; bonus daughter Denise Graser; half daughter; 5 stepchildren; grandson Benjamin Taylor; many brothers, sister, nieces and nephews.
Darrell was preceded in death by his wife, Jackie Immel Taylor, his parents and a sister.
Private services will be held with interment in Sunnyside Cemetery in Glenmont.
Friends will be received on Sunday, March 8, 2026, from 3:00-5:00 PM at McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster.
