Bernard Holliday II, 66, of Wooster died peacefully at his home surrounded by loved ones on Monday, March 9, 2026.

He was born on January 24, 1960, in Orrville to Bernard I and Fronie Messenger Holliday.  On October 5, 1985, he married Kelly Carr.

Bernard was self-employed as a roofer.  He loved collecting cards, fishing, camping, and being a great father and husband.

In addition to his parents; wife Kelly his survived by his children Dana Holliday of Wooster, Jessica Pearson of Wooster, Holly (Ryan) Woodruff of Wooster, Haley (Raymond) Denny of North Carolina, Caille Mincy of Wooster, Addison Holliday, and Ava Cecil; sixteen grandchildren; siblings Beverly Mitchell, Toni Thompson, Thonya (Ken) Ballard and Candy Holliday.

He was preceded in death by son Bernard Dale Holliday III and mother-in-law Dana Wright.

There are to be no services.

McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.

  4. I will miss your big smile and laughs. You kept it real. You were such a caring soul behind your tough skin. Now you are with my dad in heaven you guys behave up there and give him a hug from me. I’m glad you’re not in any pain and now you are with Dale as well. Hugs cousin Bugs! You will be missed dearly.   5. Sorry for your loss. I hadn’t seen Bugs in years. Have alot of memories from childhood and school. We were always friends, growing up. Prayers for all.

  8. Buggsy was a friend to many, after my brother passed he came up to me told me ” I’m your brother now.” That meant so much to me. And over the years life got in the way, didn’t see him as much, but Everytime we did, it was like it didn’t matter. Buggsy I know you can finally rest and be with your son. I will always have the memories of the great times we shared. Kelly I hope you guys have peace knowing he was always there for you and the girls. He loved his family so much, my heart and prayers go out to all the family, and reach out if you need anything. Love you guys.
