Mark S. Pyle, 79, Orrville, died March 13, 2026 at Aultman Canton Hospital.

He was born January 4, 1947 in Cleveland to Robert and Fannie Schwartz Pyles.  Mark joined the U.S. Navy in 1964 and served until 1966.

Mark worked in several different places during his career including McDonald’s, Wal-Mart and the Ford Assembly Plant.  He loved wolves, gardening, was an avid reader and being outside.  Mark was a Cherokee elder and a member of the World Christianship Ministries.

He is survived by his fiancée Virginia Downin of Orrville and children Joey, Mark, Jr. and Angela.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents and siblings.

Graveside services will be held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery at a later date.
