Herbert S. Jenkins, Jr. 89, of Akron passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at Autumnwood in Rittman.

He was born April 29, 1936, in Akron to Herbert S., Sr.  and Lomie Bellamy Jenkins.

Herbert worked for Chrysler in the factory. He loved building, traveling, collecting antiques, hats, license plates and old photographs.  Herbert enjoyed doing yard work and classic cars.  He was a hardworking man and loved his family. Herbert was a member of Disabled American Veterans.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his sons Herbert S. Jenkins, III and Bryant Jenkins; and all of his siblings.

There is no services at this time.
