Carl David Daugherty, born January 10, 1971 in Wooster, Ohio, passed away on March 29, 2026, at the age of 55. He was the son of Carl C and Mary Daugherty, who welcomed him into the world and raised him in the Wooster community he would call home throughout his life.

Carl attended Wooster High School and spent his working years in the tire industry, specializing in retreading tires at several tire shops in Wooster. He took pride in the work and the friendships he formed over the years.

A devoted Pittsburgh Steelers fan, Carl rarely missed a game. He especially enjoyed debating with Cleveland Browns fans and sharing his love for football. As a child he loved playing baseball and spent many summers at Miller Field, where he had some of his happiest moments.

Carl is survived by his father Carl C. Daugherty; his sisters, Carla Miner and Darla Daugherty; his nephews, Zachary Daugherty and Caleb Miner; his nieces, Molly Daugherty and Destiny Miner; and his great nieces Jada, Halo and Faye, and his great nephew Jalen.

We love you David and you are now resting in heaven with Mom. You will be missed.

Private family services will be held under the direction of the McIntire Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster.
