Virginia Karen Collins, 76, of Wooster died on Saturday, April 11, 2026 at her home.
She was born August 3, 1949 in Canton, Ohio to Roma and Flora (Ross) Booth.
Karen obtained her nursing license after raising her four sons and then worked as a Home Health nurse for many years. She was extremely proud of her sons, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and would talk about them whenever she could. She was well known to be a hard worker with an extraordinary capacity to love.
She is survived by her sons Bill (Sharon) Edgell of Lakeville, Bob (Molly) Edgell of Wooster, Ed Edgell of Wooster and Ernie (Michelle) Edgell of Macedonia; grandchildren Charlie (Kim) Edgell of Lakeville, Billy (Kara) Edgell of Ashland, Brittany (Thomas) Beckler of Lakeville, Katie (Cory) Shank of Wooster, Bailey (Keiwan) Franklin of Canfield, Brandon Edgell of Sterling, Kelsey (Bryan) O’Donnell of Hinkley, Gavon Edgell of Wooster, Trevor Edgell of Grandview Heights, Emily Edgell of Colorado Springs, CO, Tyler Edgell of Macedonia and Zach Edgell of Macedonia; 13 great-grandchildren; siblings Charlie (Betty) Booth of Apple Creek, Wanda (Mac) McLaughlin of Massillon, Debbie (Don) Miller of Apple Creek and Rick (Patty) Booth of Rittman and her best friend Nancy Schuring of Wooster.
Karen was preceded in death by her parents, great-grandchildren and siblings Edwin Ray Ross, Marvin Booth, Mike Booth, Paul Booth and Larry Booth.
Private family services will be held.

I worked with Karen several years ago. She was a unique personality!. Loving, funny, intelligent, I could go on and on because she had so many wonderful traits. She was very proud of her children and loved them deeply. So sad she left her family and friends so young. Condolences to her family.
