Patricia Hadden Douthitt, 92, of Wooster passed away into the loving arms of her heavenly father while surrounded by her family on Thursday, May 7, 2026.

Patricia was born February 23, 1934 in Pinetta, FL.  On January 27, 1952, she married Carl Douthitt.

Patricia was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.  Patricia had previously worked as an executive assistant at Firestone Tire and Rubber Company in Akron and later at Terex Corporation in Hudson.

Patricia loved to spend time with her family.  She liked to cook, read, and have fun with her grandchildren.

Patricia is survived by her daughters Joyce (Donald) Bowman of West Salem and Elizabeth (John) Eisterhold of Pearland, TX; grandchildren Melissa Garver of San Francisco, CA, Scott Garver of Lorain, Ohio, Emily Garver of Cleveland, Ohio, Lauren Rogers of Pearland, TX and Victoria Rogers of La Marque, TX; great-grandson Bryce Castillo of Pearland, TX; great-granddaughters Adelynn Navarro of La Marque, TX and Aubrey Navarro of La Marque, TX; brother John Anderson of Ritzville, WA and sister Carol Anderson of Thomasville, GA.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Douthitt, father Carl Hadden, mother Elizabeth Anderson and son Michael Douthitt.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, May 16th at 1PM (Central Time) at Maplewood Cemetery, 408 N. 6th Street, Mayfield, KY. There will be no visitation, and friends are invited to meet at the cemetery at the hour of service.

McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family with the local arrangements.

  1. We had some good times with Pat, Carl, Michael and Elizabeth many years ago even visiting them on Carl’s family homestead. When they returned to Wooster we shared memories and catching up on each other’s lives. You will be in our thoughts and prayers as you gather together on Saturday, wish we could be with you in person. Tom & Karen Kaufman
