Donald Daniel Rood, Jr., 50, of Wooster died on Monday, June 1, 2026, at his home.

He was born April 18, 1976, in Wooster.

Donald had worked at Walmart and enjoyed being outdoors and playing on his phone.  He had a good sense of humor.

He is survived by his father Donald D. Rood, Sr.; mother Deborah Sue Owens; children Cloud Mullins, Gage Rood and Hannah Rood; grandchild Jagger Rood; brother Michael Rood; several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Donald was preceded in death by his grandparents Bonnie and Del Fribley and Daniel and Edna Rood.

A gathering of friends will be held at on Monday, June 8, 2026 from 5:00-7:00 PM at McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster.

  2. I knew him fairly well and he was one of the bestest friends I could ever have. I loved him like a brother and wished we had more time together. Although we never met in person, he joined many lives together and formed a family. He will be missed by so many. I love you Brother until we meet again.

  4. I want to say i was blessed to have know Donnie. Just a couple day ago I gave Donnie a ride home and we joked about him being a grandpa. Had a lot of good times with Donnie and his family. I played Santa Clause for his kids thanks to Debbie and Bonnie. He loved playing video games like his brother Mike.
