Sara Myrtle Lennon
August 29, 1938-June 6, 2026
Oh, how she loved her beautiful gardens! And all of her travelling adventures across the United States with her dearest of girlfriends; and volunteering to serve breakfast to the homeless with her church groups; and hosting monthly Bridge Club with her lifelong friends.
Most of all…she cherished her grandchildren Jonathan, Clara, and Jaret. When she was able to meet and to hold her great-grandson Arthur for the first time this past October, she felt priceless joy.
Our beautiful mom passed away unexpectedly on June 6, 2026, and will be missed dearly by many. Mom leaves behind a daughter Marylouise (Cory) Allen and son Jon (Lora) Lennon.
Sadly was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, John “Terry” Lennon.
There will be no services.

Jon and Marylouise I have way too many fond memories of your mom. Way too many to list. I loved her like she was my own mother. I have incredible childhood memories because of your family. My condolences on behalf of all of my family. She will definitely live on in my memory and stories as part of my life as well.

Im so very sorry for your loss—Losing a mom is tough. I did not know Sally personally. However, knowing how generous& thoughtful Marylouise is, she learned those characteristics from someone quite remarkable.

We were so sad to learn about Aunt Sally’s passing. She was always so kind and welcoming when we visited her and Terry in Wooster. She will be missed here on earth, but we will cherish the memories we made with her. We praise God that we can look forward to seeing her again someday in heaven. May she rest in peace now in the arms of her Savior Jesus. Our prayers are with all of you.

Sorry to see you lost your mother Sally. I was in sorority with her for many years. You will all miss her.
My sister-in-law, Sally, was such a sweet lady and always so kind to me. I will miss receiving the birthday cards she always sent me and our phone conversations. She so loved her daughter and son, all her grandchildren, and her latest gift of a great grandson! They, in turn, returned that love by taking great care of her. She will definitely be missed by many people, but I know she will be at peace enjoying eternity with Jesus until we meet again.
I worked with Sally at Central Trust right out of high school. She was the most kind soul. She never treated me like just a young kid, I always appreciated that. Mary Louise & Jon I am so sorry for your loss.

Heart Felt Condolences to Marylouise and Jon: What a shocker to see Sally’s fate. I was one of many employees that worked and learned from Terry on the Wooster Ohio Power Line Crew. His introduction of his family to us was an honor to watch them grow learning from their mother to become fine parents themselves. Sally always had a very nice display of flowers surrounding her home. When we meet she always smiling and never in a rush. Those that knew Sally will never forget the kindness she displayed to others.

Dear Mary Louise and Jon and grandchildren. Mary Louise you have been in my thoughts this entire month. I sent you a text. Pamela died on June 5. 2005. You were so loving and kind to Chuck and me and Annaliese. Sally always had a beautiful smile. Perfect photo of her. Mary Louise you will always be special to me. My Sympathy to Sally’s family. I was a classmate at CHS class of 56. But it started earlier than that. The Laird’s lived next door to my Grandmother on Hay Ave in Coshocton. At around. 4 or 5 years old I met Sally. We always played together when I visited my Grandmother. I feel Sally was good friend for n any years.
Sally was such a kind lady. Enjoyed talking with her as she kind of filled my heart when my Mom passed.
