Richard Franklin Lee, 77, of Dalton and formerly of Orrville and Seville, died Monday, June 8, 2026 at Aultman Compassion Care in Canton.

He was born June 25, 1948 in Akron to Clifford F. and Eunice C. Pursley Lee.

Richard served his country in the U.S. Air Force and in the National Guard.  He enjoyed bowling, history and Cleveland sports.

He is survived by his niece Melinda (Jared) Kauffman; great nieces Jami (Josh) Kazdan and Jade Kauffman and a great nephew Jagger Kauffman.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Kathy (Cliff) Bartram, Alta Baker, Roger Eysler and Robert Lee.

Inurnment will be in the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville at the convenience of the family.
