John Vincent Nolletti, 89, of Wooster passed away Monday, June 15, 2026, at Brookdale Senior Living.
John was born May 13, 1937, in Wooster to Carlo and Nicolina (Tomassetti) Nolletti. John graduated from Wooster High School in 1956. He married Lois Ickes on July 20, 1958. She survives.
John retired from Rubbermaid. Anyone who knew “Johnny” knew he always had a good shine on his shoes and his pant legs pegged. John was very proud of keeping his cars clean and enjoyed old cars. He always spoke fondly of his 1936 Olds he had as a young man. He enjoyed playing his guitar and singing country and gospel music at local nursing homes. He also enjoyed camping and playing pitch and Phase 10 with his grandchildren. He would quietly lay down his whole hand with a grin on his face knowing he had beaten his opponent. His wife and family were his pride and joy.
John will be deeply missed by his wife, Lois, his daughter-in-law, Laura Nolletti; his children Scott (Julie) Nolletti, all of Jeromesville; Todd (Kimberly) Nolletti of Wooster; and Norma (Mike) Guidetti of West Salem. Also surviving are his grandchildren Craig (Kerri) Nolletti, Jared (Candis) Nolletti, Damaris (Nehemiah) Murphy, Malachi (Morgan) Nolletti, Nicolina (fiancé Matt) Nolletti, Philip (Marian) Nolletti, Anthony (fiancée Ashley) Nolletti, Rachel (Trenton) Kline, and Jeffrey Guidetti. John is also survived by 15 great grandchildren and two on the way. Also surviving is a sister Lucille Gordon; and brother Jimmy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 14 siblings, oldest son Steven John, and granddaughter Olivia Peace Nolletti.
Per John’s wishes, there will be no services.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is helping the family with arrangements.

Kirk and I are so sorry to hear about John’s passing. We both have found memories of John singing with the family band on rare occasions. He always brought people to their feet when he did. We will be keeping Lois and the entire family in our prayers.
