Nicholas Humrichouser
January 24, 1981 – June 22, 2026
Nicholas “Nick” Humrichouser, 45, passed away unexpectedly on June 22, 2026.
Nick was born on January 24, 1981, and lived a life filled with creativity, passion, and love for the people closest to him. He was a talented DJ and music producer whose love for music was more than a hobby—it was a way of life. Whether he was creating beats, mixing tracks, or sharing music with friends and family, Nick found joy in bringing people together through sound.
For more than 20 years, Nick worked for GNR Drywall, where he was known for his strong work ethic, dedication, and the friendships he built throughout his career.
Above all else, Nick cherished his daughter, Amelia. The bond they shared was the greatest joy of his life. Some of his favorite moments were spent canoeing down the river with Amelia. He loved spending time with her, sharing adventures, laughter, and his many passions.
Nick was a man of many talents and interests. He loved cooking for family and friends, expressing himself through painting, and spending time outdoors. He was an avid fan of sprint car racing and enjoyed attending races whenever he could. He also enjoyed watching football and loved the Cleveland Browns.
Nick will be remembered for his love of music, his artistic soul, his devotion to his daughter, and the countless memories he created with those who knew and loved him. Though his time here was far too short, the impact he made on the lives around him will never be forgotten.
Nick is survived by his daughter Amelia Humrichouser and former wife and mother of his daughter Suzie Humrichouser both of Apple Creek; father Michael (Melanie) Humrichouser of Big Prairie; stepfather Ron Shane; stepsiblings Brenda Quevedo, Chad Bigley, Bryan Bigley all of Apple Creek; step-brother Shawn Shaw; uncles Brad Humrichouser of Shreve, Mark Humrichouser of GA and Leonard Butts of Orrville; aunt Karen Venables of Orrville.

Wow…I am beyond belief that something like this took place! We just spent hours on the phone recently, and had made plans to collaborate on some projects in the near future. I was looking forward to that and getting our friendship back to where it used to be in the before time.
I’m gonna miss you forever, Brother! 😢
Oh Nick, I’m going to miss my best friend. I could always turn to you in any situation. Please watch over our baby girl💔
I hope your with you mom.

N:Coder. Nick, my brother for life. You saved me from squalor, talked me off ledges, inspired me to greater heights, engaged in debauchery, stole the show with me, stood up to adversity beside me, invested and brainstormed with me- and so much more. We would marvel at our fortune of being fathers to the most amazing daughters. We knew what buttons to push to make each other laugh.
While you were among us, my life was simply better. I miss you now and forever and intend to be better than yesterdays me, every day- for you and your kin, for my family, for our culture and for our music. I can still hear you in my head, cussing up a storm.
Nick you were a great friend you were always awesome to me and big help through some tough times in my life. May the sweet sounds of your music we’re going through the heavens. He will never be forgotten my friend.
Oh Nick, my fellow aquarian, who like myself was married into this circus….You made any reunion you attended better. I am forever grateful that I answered my phone that day, it lead to our longest phone marathon ever. We laughed, we cried, we shared stories and we laughed more. I am so sorry life wasn’t better for you here, I pray you’ve escaped it’s weight. Thank you for ALWAYS being real, I will never forget you.
To a second generation friendship. You will be missed.
Ohh Nick, Im so sorry . You were loved by so many . I will always remember you as the cutest little boy in your baseball uniform as your dad drove you in that little pickup truck to practice and games you tumbled out of the truck with bat and glove and a look of excitement and determination!
Little did I know you would be Uncle Nick to my my grand and great grands! They loved you!
My deepest sincere condolences to all left to mourn your death.

Though I only had the chance to meet Nick a few times, it was clear how deeply he was loved and how much he meant to those around him. His absence is heartbreaking, and he leaves behind a space that words cannot fill. May his soul now find the peace it was seeking, held in light and love beyond this life. May those who love him be surrounded with strength, comfort, and grace in the days ahead.
Upon hearing of Nicks passing, I just wanted to send some love. My heart was crushed & I immediately thought about Amelia, Ron & Suzie.
Over the years when I visited Nicks stepdad Ron, Nick would come by the house to drop off or pick up Amelia. Upon opening the front door, his
beautiful smile & gentle interaction with Amelia & Ron was sweet & so sincere. He was kind, caring & always happy to reconnect with his beautiful daughter.
I’m grateful for the times he connected with me texting pictures & videos of his sweet Amelia & sharing his enjoyment of car racing.
Nick will be missed by many & will always be remembered but never forgotten. RIP sweet man.💔😘
