Jennifer Ann Affolter passed away peacefully in her sleep June 25, 2026 after a long illness.
Born April 20, 1946 in Elyria, Ohio, Jennifer and her husband moved to Wooster in 1998. She never regretted the move. She loved the beauty of the area and people. Jennifer had a quality about her that made it impossible not to like her. It was real easy to be her friend. She was always willing to help and participate in other’s interests.
She played lot of racket ball in her youth and lots of golf her entire life.
Jennifer is survived by her husband of 27 years Douglas, her son Christopher (Kampsee Weber) Hubbell; stepdaughter Britany (David) Affolter Caine; stepson Easy Affolter; grandchildren Luke Hubbell, Miles (Annalee) Caine and Peter Caine.
She was preceded in death by her parents Harold and Virginia Nelson Jason.
A Celebration of Life will be held later in the summer.

The world was definitely a better place with Jennifer in it. All who knew her, loved her! May she rest in peace.
I will miss my dear friend terribly. She had a beautiful spirit and a light about her that was unmistakable. We had so much fun with our neighborhood family on many 4th of July’s with the cookouts and watching fireworks from the patio, telling stories and laughing so hard our sides hurt. She was absolutely one of a kind, and I am truly blessed to have been lucky enough to call her my buddy! Love you, Jenn 🩷
Jennifer was a classmate from elementary through high school. She was a kind person in every way. My sympathies are with her family.

Jennifer was my sister in-law. I always looked forward seeing her when our family would get together. Talking and laughing with Jennifer and her mother, Virginia, are wonderful memories. We were Blessed to have her in our family.
