Michael Scott Lindeman, 52, of Wooster, Ohio passed away peacefully on July 8, 2026 surrounded by his family.
He was born on August 16, 1973 in Shreve, Ohio to Kim and Pam (Force) Lindeman. After graduating from Triway High School he had a fulfilling 28-year career as an administrator with the Ohio Department of Transportation. He was elected as a Wooster Township Trustee in 2011 and served four terms.
On October 31, 1998 he married Sarah Schoenberger and they went on to have two daughters, Caitlin and Courtney Lindeman. Outside of work he enjoyed spending time with his family, vacationing at the beach while collecting shark teeth. Mike was best known for helping others and always offering to feed you.
Mike is survived by his wife Sarah, his daughters Caitlin (Kendel Weber) and Courtney (Tyler Gallion). His parents Pam and Kim Lindeman and his sister Jennifer (Matt) Diffenderfer. His Sister-in-Law and Brother-in-Law Amy and Brian Mellor and father-in-law Phil Schoenberger. He is preceded in death by his mother-in-law Pamela Schoenberger; maternal grandparents Kermit and Olive (Biggs) Force and his paternal grandparents Oscar and Gertrude (Barnes) Lindeman.
Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at The Magnolia of Wooster at 4068 Oil City Road, Wooster, Ohio. A Celebration of Life will immediately follow at 6:00 p.m.
