Annabelle J. Ogden, 88, of Columbus and formerly of Wooster died on July 21, 2026 at her home.
She was born November 1, 1937 in Wooster to Harold and Helen Daugherty Kinney. Annabelle graduated from Wooster High School in 1955. On August 12, 1956, she married Robert W. Ogden. He preceded her in death.
Annabelle was a one-of-a-kind loving and fun-loving woman. Fun and funny, she provided humor and a bit of spunk to any situation. She knew no strangers. Annabelle was a warm and wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed many clubs and activities. Annebelle and her husband belonged to Gnat Boxers Square Dance Club. Annabelle participated in a bowling league and was an active member of the Chatterettes Club. Later in life, she was active with friends who were former coworkers at Western Reserve and former classmates at Wooster High School.
Supporting her children and grandchildren was very important to her. She never missed a sporting or musical event and loved volunteering at class parties and chaperoning class field trips. She was always known as the ” cool” mom and was the house for her children’s friends to gather .
Annabelle did get to travel. Frequent destinations were Northern VA, Gatlinburg, New Orleans, Rehoboth Beach and Chicago. She was lucky to enjoy a trip to Hawaii, New York City and Disney World as well.
She loved to socialize and attend parties and get togethers. Annabelle also was an avid reader and a wicked Euchre player. She loved her lottery scratch offs and even appeared on the Ohio Lottery Cash Explosion. She was also an avid Cleveland sports fan and never missed watching and rooting for her teams. Annabelle loved life, loved her family and friends. She spread joy wherever she went.
Annabelle is survived by her children Debra Bruno of Columbus and Ronald (Tammy Berkshire) Ogden of Lakeville; grandchildren Joshua (Kristy) Ogden, John (Kristen) Bruno, Derek “DJ” (Alice) Bruno, Nicholas (Alexandra) Bruno, Lonnie (Kristy) Berkshire, Zach (Katrina) Berkshire and Luke (Brooke) Berkshire; great grandchildren Lyric Ogden, Aria Donato, Wyiatt Hynek and Riley Berkshire; many nieces and nephews and lifelong friend Charlotte Wilson.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert W. Ogden; parents; siblings Judy (Joe) Clark, Margie (Dean) Wilson and Harold (Rae) Kinney, Jr. and many other sisters and brothers -in-law.
A Celebration of Life will be held in her honor on Sunday, August 30, 2026 at 2:00 PM at Trinity United Church of Christ, 150 E. North St., Wooster where she was an active member for many years.

So sorry to read of Annabelle’s passing. I will always remember her laugh! I can imagine her and mom and Margie having the best time now that they’re all together again. Love and hugs to all.
I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with her at Western Reserve many years ago. She was hilarious! She was such a joy to be around.
Annabelle was my second mom! From my middle school years until her death. The stories she would tell both of us while driving to and from New Pittsburg and hair/doctors appointments were beyond funny! We were lucky enough to spend time with her watching reruns of Reba, Andy Griffin and The Price is Right which included costume critiques!! Her enthusiasm for “Dollar Days” was over the top and she definitely was the best partner in any card game. She will be missed but left us with life long memories.

Oh Annabelle! So sorry for your loss. I had the pleasure of working with Annabelle at Western Reserve Group in the early 2000’s. We were on the same personal lines team for a bit- her orneriness will never be forgotten. I loved listening to her and Margie. They made the work day so fun. You will be missed, dear friend.

Annabelle was such a humorous and caring lady. Her laugh, wit and spunk made work at WRG fun. Realy enjoyed her and Margie telling stories. So glad Debbie was able to spend the past few days together. Always remember your great memories. Thoughts and prayers to you and family.
