David Warren Rinard, 63, of Wooster died on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at his home.
He was born March 2, 1963, in Wooster to Ralph and Dorothy Rinard.
David loved his job as a truck driver. When his son, Zach was 3, he gave him a dirt bike and spent the next 16 plus years watching Zach and attending Motorcross races. David enjoyed being outside just being in nature and camping and being in his garage working on various projects. He was a hard-working man who loved animals, music (especially Classic Rock and Heavy Metal) and beer.
He is survived by his son Zach Rinard of Wooster; step daughter Megan (Chad) Welling of Columbus; sister Shelly Rinard of Wooster; brother Butch Rinard of Florida; Zach’s mother Nikki Flinn of Wooster.
David was preceded in death by his parents and his canine companions John and Marley.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2026, at 3:00 PM at McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster.
Friends will be received one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

I’ve known Davey since the early 80s. He was great guy and a blast to be around.
My heart goes out to his family and friends, especially you, Zach. All those who were close to him.
