“Together Again”
Connie S. Huebner, 76, of Wooster died on Friday, August 7, 2026 at Wooster Community Hospital.
She was born May 28, 1950 in Orma, WV to Clark and Dollie Booher Tucker. On April 17, 1971 she married Bruce W. Huebner. He preceded her in death in 2024.
Connie had worked in Human Resources at various places throughout the years. She had been a member of the GNAT Boxers Square Dancers Club. She loved to bake, travel and quilt. She especially loved family dinners and get togethers. Connie was a member of the Nashville United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her daughter Karen (Johnny) Baughan of Shreve; daughter-in-law Deb Mendenahll of Wooster; grandson Jacob Huebner; sister Joie (Roy) Glatt; brother Larry (Dee) Tucker.
Along with her husband, Connie was preceded in death by her parents and her son Thomas Huebner.
The family would like to thank the staff at West View Healthy Living Therapy Department for all of their care during her stay there.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 14, 2026 at 1:00 PM at McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster. Interment will follow in Prairie Twp Cemetery.
Friends will be received one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.

I first met Connie at Shreve Dari Bar. Then I saw her several times at University Hospital in Cleveland while she was visiting doctors and my family was there with my sister Robin. Connie was always a kind soul. Thank you for sharing her with the rest of the world!
