Nicholas “Nick” Ralston, of Wooster, Ohio, passed away suddenly on August 26, 2026, at the age of 41.

Nick was born on May 17, 1985, in Orrville, Ohio. He was known for his quick mind, sharp wit, and ability to figure out just about anything he set his mind to. Nick never hesitated to share his knowledge with those around him. He also had an infectious laugh that could fill a room and bring a smile to everyone nearby. Whether through laughter, conversation, or simply his presence, Nick made a lasting impression on those fortunate enough to know him.

Nick was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret “Ruthie” Ralston, who passed away on June 18, 2021.

He is survived by his daughter, Braylee Edwards, and Braylee’s mother, Brandie Edwards; both of Wooster, Ohio; his father, Roger Walsh of Marshallville, Ohio; his brother, Paul Ralston of Ohio; his sisters, Michele Staley of Wooster, Ohio, Josephine (Tony) Owens of Lakeville, Ohio, and Alicia Walsh of Doylestown, Ohio; and his brothers, Jason Walsh of Marshallville, Ohio, and Dustin Walsh of Rittman, Ohio. He also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews, extended family members, and friends who will cherish his memory and miss him dearly.

A memorial service celebrating Nick’s life will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Christmas Run Park. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance, share stories, and honor the life of a beloved son, father, brother, uncle, and friend.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Homeward Bound in his honor.
