My name is Ahren Shedron, Ralph was my grandfather and I am proud to call him my grandfather, father figure, and teacher in business education.
This man was very impactful in my life, he taught me good business practices, patience, how to stay calm and take things in a comedic positive tone rather than negatively.
I have known Ralph for many years. He knew my family and a good friend of my dad Dean Foster. He was a one of a kind great friend. The first time being in the nursing home with him he remembered me and bought me a welcome vanilla milk shake. He will be greatly missed by many. RIP Ralph my friend.
Sending comfort to your family. Ralph was a friend from long ago of my husband Dewey and myself. A special man.
Ralph was my buddy. I enjoyed his conversations when we ran into one another. He was a funny man with lots of jokes. He always called me the “pretty lady”. He will surely be missed, along with that smirk of his. Rest easy my friend…
May peace and comfort be granted to Linda and all surviving family members and friends.
Ralph was an amazing man. He taught me a lot about the race industry. He’s always had a smile and a joke ready. He will be greatly missed.
My condolences to his family.
Ralph was a great man that I took care of during his stay at The Avenue at Wooster. Ralph always would say “thank you for helping me pretty lady” Ralph holds a special place in my heart we had several heart to heart talks myself with him when he was feeling down and he reciprocated when he could tell things weren’t as they should be with myself he could read right through it. Rest easy in Heaven my special friend you’ll forever hold a special place in my heart. Never forget my 2nd cardinal in my back yard now has a name it’s yours so you can talk and tell jokes with the other one who I named after my dad. Thank you for letting me take care of you and laugh at your jokes and crazy stories. Prayers to all the family I’ve met and got to know over the time I’ve cared for Ralph.
Rest in Peace Ralph. You will be missed by all. Thankyou for welcoming me into Zion Lutheran when i came in one Sunday for coffee services. You made me feel so welcome. i will never forget your kindness.
To Linda and his family and friends: Thank you for showing me Ralph’s happy face one more time. I don’t know how I met him. He has always shown up in front me as long back as I can remember. If it was school, church, an auction, the fair, the street, standing in line somewhere, a gas station,(which is my earliest memory of him at the BP station in the 60’s/70’s maybe), the auto places or a restaurant. He was so familiar to me that we stopped and talked and asked about our lives and “Pretty Lady” must have been attached to his lips because he used it often with me also the last 20 years or so. He never walked by without me thinking “How do I know him in my life?” without a wave, smile or hello of some time if we couldn’t talk. I never got to ask him what school he went to, How old was he? Did he ever work where I worked as an instructor or an RN or ACDC?Did I know Linda? Doesn’t matter, I probably was in my teens at some dance or early years somewhere. There was his face where ever I was often. I haven’t seen him in at least a couple years I think as my years are catching up with me too. I will probably look for him where ever I am in crowds. I will miss that wonderful smiling face. My thoughts and prayers will be regarding him and his friends including those like me and anyone else who will miss his presence. Love to all of you.
Linda and family, so sorry for your loss. Remember the fun we had as kids. Ralph was very nice and a lot of fun. Hugs and prayers Linda.
Rest at peace in the arms of Jesus my friend. I met Ralph at the Avenue in Wooster, he and I met and began conversation talking of family and friends. I began looking forward to every conversation we could have and seeing his smile and hearing his stories. Finding we had things in common in Wooster are surely brightened my day and brought back memories of the past. He was definitely an easy man to talk with I am only sorry that I did not get to say goodbye but he will always be in my memory as an outstanding man with great memories of the past. To his family I am deeply sorrowed by your loss and wish you only happy memories.
Oh Dustin and family I am sad to see this! Sending my deepest sympathy and prayers for peace while you grieve 💔🙏
I am the eldest Grandchild of Margaret McGinnis and have some fond memories of talking to Ralph many times on the phone when visiting my Grandma. Ralph was definitely one of a kind and told some great stories! Prayers to Aunt Linda and the rest of the family.

Ralph was one of a kind, have known him and Linda for many years from breaking Danny’s first 4-H project to horse sales and being my aunt Sues neighbor. Was a lot of fun to be around, I know he will be so missed by his family and friends.
Ralph and I went through high school together at Waynedale. Pretty lady had to be one of his most used compliments. When I worked downtown Wooster we would chat at the Parlor sometimes. To the family so sorry for your loss. May God Bless!!
Uncle Ralph was always special to me throughout life, and when my dad (Dale) passed away Ralph took me under his wing. I have a lot of fond memories working at the Sunoco station and I’m sure Ernie and I kept him on his toes a lot! He was always a great storyteller and I just wondered how many were true haha! I have a special place in my heart for all he did for me.
Prayers for aunt Linda and the family
Rest in peace Doc
So sorry to hear of Ralph’s passing. He and my dad, Floyd Burris, were long time friends. Ralph was also my landlord at one point. I lived right behind him in his carraige house. He was an awesome landlord but most importantly, he introduced my autistic 4 year old daughter to horses, a life long love she still purses. Rest in Peace Ralph! You will be missed!
Our deepest condolences to Ralph’s family. We thank you for your dedicated service to our country.
