Ashley Nicole Thomas, 35, of Wooster left this spiritual world for the next one on Thursday, September 10, 2026 at Wooster Community Hospital.
She was born August 6, 1991 in Malvern, Arkansas. On July 22, 2017, she married Hayley Thomas.
Ashley was a crafty and creative individual who enjoyed party planning and incorporating the theme into the food presentations. She was also a very spiritual person who loved stargazing, astrology, giving tarot reading and creating human design charts. Ashley was an animal whisperer and all animals were drawn to her. Earlier this year, she rescued a baby squirrel that Paisley named Brown Sugar and it would come and visit her when she was outside. Most recently, she started to dabble in writing poetry. Ashley was a unique person who touched many people’s lives and did things in her own time. She was an incredible dancer and loved her animals and collecting bird feathers.
Ashley was just so zesty (respectfully zesty) she was a very unique and authentic person. She used her voice not just for her but when others didn’t have the courage. Strangers included. She was a protecter and would not co-sign unhealthy behavior and habits. Especially when it came to women and children. She was an advocate for many big things and actively was making a difference. Her children also inherited that passion. Ashley’s momentum continues…
She is survived by her wife, Hayley; children Peyton English, Preston Holiman and Paisely Thomas all of Wooster; sibling Makayla Holiman of Benton, AR; father Kevin (Tammy) Holiman of Benton, AR; aunt Marty (Donald) Frye of Ravenna; sister from another mister Nicole Gilbert along with other family members and friends.
A private gathering will be held.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.

No matter what are beef was I just messaged you on your birthday sister I love you no matter what. Your my big sister it shouldn’t have been like this.

This is truly heartbreaking to hear. You were an amazing person and I loved when we worked together. Prayers for Hayley and the kids.
Hayley, I was devastated to hear this terribly sad news. I can well imagine how heart broken you are. My most sincere heartfelt condolences to you and yours.
With heavy hearts and tears in our eyes, we say good bye to a beautiful and energetic momma and a fantastic grand neice.
Our hearts are broken, but you are at peace – able to look after your children.
We love you.
I am so so sorry and hurt so bad.I’ve known her since she was a little girl
I still don’t think my heart has caught up with the reality that you’re gone.
There are some people who come into your life and leave a mark that time simply can’t erase. You were one of those people for me.
We had been friends for so long. You were one of those friends where it didn’t matter how much time had passed since we had seen each other. We could go months, even years, without sitting down together, and somehow, when we finally did, it felt like absolutely no time had passed at all.
Adult life got the best of us. Life became busy, responsibilities piled up, and somewhere along the way we stopped seeing each other nearly as much as we should have. I wish I could go back and change that. I wish I had known we had more moments to make, more conversations to have, more memories to create.
But the time between our last visit and now does not erase what you meant to me. It doesn’t make this loss any less devastating. If anything, it leaves me sitting here wishing for just one more chance to tell you how much you mattered.
I am heartbroken for your wife and your three beautiful children. My heart aches for the life you were supposed to continue building together, for all the birthdays, holidays, milestones, ordinary Tuesday nights, and little moments that should have been ahead of you.
I’m heartbroken that your children will have to grow up carrying memories of you instead of getting to make new ones with you. And I hope they always know just how deeply you were loved not only by your family, but by the friends who were lucky enough to know you.
Right now, I’m still in disbelief. I don’t have some profound explanation for this loss. I just know that it hurts. It hurts because you mattered. It hurts because your life mattered. And it hurts because the world feels different knowing you’re no longer in it.
I will always be grateful that our paths crossed so many years ago on that school bus to elementary school. Grateful for the memories, the laughter, the friendship, and for the kind of connection that could survive years of distance and still feel exactly the same.
I wish we had more time.
I wish I had one more conversation.
I wish I could tell you one more time that I love you.
Until then, I’ll carry the memories of you with me.
Rest peacefully, Ashley Thomas. You were loved. You are missed. And you will never be forgotten. 💜 Two-Fanny
