WOOSTER “ On April 10, 2019, God received the beautiful spirit of Roberta A. œBert  Ivers.
Roberta was born October 30, 1956 in Wooster, the daughter of Jasper Robert and Nellie Elizabeth Flannagan.   She graduated from the Wayne Co. Joint Vocational School and began working for Lightning Rod Insurance, Bell and Howell and Diebold before deciding to join the family business in 1987.   She worked with the public where she met numerous life-long friends in this community she loved.
Roberta is survived by a son, Brett Ivers of Wooster; a grandson, Dakota (Misty) Ivers, two great-grandchildren all of Wooster; sisters, Wanda Holcomb of Wooster, Darlene (Gary) Benson of Drakesboro, KY and Norma (Roy) Bailes of Ft. Worth, TX and dozens of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, Irene Solomon, Samuel Taylor, Thomas Burden, Larry Flannagan, Denny Flannagan.
Friends will be received on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., from 6-8:00 p.m.
There will be no funeral services.
Those who wish may make contributions to the funeral home to help with expenses.
For someone to have so little yet give so much, you truly are the wind beneath our wings.
