APPLE CREEK “ Martha A. McCarthy, 50, of Apple Creek passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at LifeCare Hospice in Wooster.
She was born March 7, 1965 in Middlefield, Ohio, the daughter of Andy and Lydia Troyer Miller.   She married Robert F. McCarthy on July 24, 1993.   He survives.
She had worked as a secretary for Interlink Ministries in Kidron for 5 years and as a receptionist at the Church of the Saviour for 2 years.   Martha was a member of the Church of the Saviour and loved spending her time with family and friends and was very involved in her Apple Creek Community and her church.
In addition to her husband, Martha is survived by her children Lauren Jean McCarthy and Robert Cody McCarthy both of Apple Creek; her mother of Middlefield; a granddaughter, Aubrey Grace McCarthy and her siblings, Sarah (Melvin) Kurtz of Bloomfield, Esther Miller of Sarasota, Florida, Chester (Dora) Miller of Windsor, Ohio, Loma Mae (Mervin) Yoder, Mary Ann (Paul) Mast, Andy (Sarah) Miller, Jr. and Alvin (Mary) Miller all of Middlefield and a sister-in-law, Rachel Miller of Middlefield.
She was preceded in death by her father and a brother Ray Miller.
Friends will be received at the Church of the Saviour, 480 Fry Road, Wooster on Thursday, August 20, 2015 from 5-8:00 p.m.
Funeral services will be held Friday, August 21, 2015 at 12:00 Noon at the Church of the Saviour with the Rev. Brent Durham officiating.   Private family burial will be held at the Apple Creek Cemetery.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.
