Pamela Anne Orender-Myers, 53 of Big Prairie, passed away on Wednesday, April 9, 2014, of natural causes.
She was born on May 2, 1960 in Fort Meade, MD to Alvis P. and Myrtle Joyce Ritter Orender. She graduated from Amherst High School in 1978.
On April 27, 1985 she married Larry Myers; they were married 28 years.   He survives.
Pamela worked throughout her life as a Certified Nursing Assistant, factory worker at Rubbermaid and as a cashier at Wal-Mart in Wooster and was homemaker for her family. She enjoyed daily journaling, crochet, camping & cooking. Pamela was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints where she was actively involved in church activities.
Along with her husband, Pamela is survived by her children Joshua R. Myers of Utica, NY, Sgt. Wayne A. (Eun Ok) Myers, U.S. Army of Ft. Drum, NY, Troy J. (April) Myers of Wooster and Richard R. Myers of Utica, NY; five step children;  grandchildren Kathrine E., Elijah R., Spencer R., and Justin W. Myers; her father Alvis P. Orender Sr., of Ashland; brothers Alvis P. Orender Jr., of Wooster,  Jefferson S. Orender and Anthony W. Orender, both of Ashland and one nephew David A. Orender along with many other family and friends.
Pamela was preceded in death by her mother and a granddaughter Carmella A. Coffie.  
The funeral service will be held on Wednesday April 16, 2014 at 11:00 AM at 1388 Liahona Drive, Wooster, with Bishop David Benfield of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints officiating.   Interment will follow in Wooster Cemetery.   Visitation will be held on Tuesday evening from 6-8 PM at McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill Street, Wooster.
