WOOSTER – Carol J GRANT, 68, of Wooster, passed away Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at Wooster Community Hospital.
She was born February 6, 1945 in Logan, WV, the daughter of Wayne and Charita Williams Fannin.
She had retired as a cook at West View Manor Nursing Home and had previously worked as a waitress and telephone operator. Carol was a member of the Eagles and Moose Lodges.
Surviving are a daughter, Lisa (Wade Ball) Grant of Wooster and a brother, Gailord (Joyce) Williams of Orrville; nephews, Rodney (Nyla) Summers of Jeromesville, Terry Summers and Steven (Vicky) Williams both of Wooster and Todd (Cindy) Williams of Orrville; great nieces, Kristen, Kendra and Kelsey Summers.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents, brother’s, Goble Williams and Pete Fannin and a sister, Barbara Summers.
Friends will be received at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster on Saturday, January 25, 2014 from 5-7:00 p.m.
Services will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, January 26, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Terry McLaughlin officiating. Interment will follow in the Wooster Cemetery.
