WOOSTER – Thomas L HAVENS, 82, of Wooster and formerly of Fairview Park passed away December 5, 2010 in his home.
He was born November 6, 1928 in Cleveland, the son of Leo F and Jane Condon Havens.
He had worked for the New York Central, Pennsylvania and Con Rail Railroad Companies. Was a member of the West Lake Irish American Club and served his country with the US Army during the Korean War.
Surviving are his wife of 58 years, Patricia Ryan Havens; his children Dr. Nancy Havens of Sarasota, FL, Susan (Jim) Oliverio of Madison, Ohio, Timothy (Julie) Havens of North Carolina, Dr. James (Susan) Havens of Georgia and Jane Means of Avon Lake; 7 grandchildren and a sister, Doris Wise of Naples, Florida.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Hazel Cline and Virginia Verbeck.
There will be no calling hours.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
