Eugenia Ann Walter, 74, of Wooster, died Saturday October 16, 2010 at West View Manor.
She was born September 4, 1936 in Wooster, daughter of the late Virgil J. and Mary Elizabeth Buchholz Walter.
Eugenia worked for Western Reserve Group retiring after 40 plus years of service. She was an active member of St. Mary Catholic Church, and was a member of the Mission Circle, Martha’s group and participated in the Senior Brunch . She was also a member of the Catholic Daughter of America, and the Widow, Widowers and Friends group and the Wooster High School Class of 1954. Eugenia enjoyed volunteering at church, spending time with her friends and traveling.
Surviving are sisters, Virginia Walter of Wooster, Lucille (Tom) Hirschinger of Wadsworth, Marilyn (Sam) Dalton of Kenton, Dorothy (Delbert) Moine of Rittman, and her twin sister, Regenia Howard of North Canton; brother, Virgil (Mary Jane) Walter of Wooster and 12 dear nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, Eugenia was preceded in death by her brother in law Richard Howard.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday October 20 at 11:00 AM at St. Mary Catholic Church with Rev. Stephen Moran officiating. Interment will follow at St. Mary Cemetery.
Friends will be received on Tuesday from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster.
The family would like to thank everyone for all of the calls, cards and prayers and to Drs. Reynolds and Lun and all the staff at Cleveland Clinic Wooster and West View Manor.
