Born May 22, 1922 in Wayne Co., OH, he was the son of Earl and Edna Bowersock Treece.
He was a graduate of Wooster High School and had been a clerk for the Wooster Post Office for 24 years and had worked for Bill Rumbaugh Construction for 15 years
He was a member of the American Legion Post of Jeromesville and a
Charter member of NARFE (National Assn of Retired Federal Employees). Served his country with the U. S. Navy during WWII. Member of the Zion Lutheran Church.
Surviving are sons, Curtis Ryan (Julie) Treece of Lima and Lyndon Scott Treece and his friend Linda Fry of Wooster; granddaughter Kaitlynn.
He was prececeded in death by his wife, Naomi M. Wilson Treece on May 18, 1990 and a brother Bob Treece.
