WOOSTER – Alvin S. YUTZY, 80, of Wooster, died Monday, January 14, 2008 in Wooster Community Hospital.
Friends will be received at the McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill Street, Wooster, OH, 1 hour prior to the 1:00 P.M. service on Friday, January 18, 2008 with the Rev’s Glenn Royer and Richard Colelli officiating. Burial will follow in the Wooster Cemetery.
Those who wish may make contributions to the funeral home to help defray funeral expenses.
Born October 15, 1927 in Arthur, IL, he was the son of Samuel and Sarah Wengerd Yutzy.
He had worked for the Gerstenslager Company for 42 years retiring in 1990. Member of the Trinity United Church of Christ..
Surviving are his wife, Pauline Troyer Yutzy, whom he married August 5, 1949; his children Alvin Gene Yutzy of Arlington, TX, Karen S. Hughes of Orrville, and Patricia Ann (Kirk) Mottern of Wooster; grandchildren Jason Allan Yutzy and Jordon Alston Yutzy both of Texas and John Mottern of Wooster.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son Mark Allan Yutzy and 7 siblings.
